Presentation about Turkish Flint and White Maize Research was presented
The CEO of the CSET “Dr. Khalid Omar Ali” presented the Turkish Flint and White Maize that was took from the Maize Research Institute “SAKARYA” and tested in Bal’ad District, Middle Shabelle, Somalia and also compared them to the local mixed maize at the end of the last year (2017).
The meeting was participated by the following directors and Coordinators from different parts of concerning this Research (General Directorate of Agricultural Research and Policy of the Ministry of Food Agriculture and Livestock of the Republic of Turkey “TAGEM, Maize Research Institute of SAKARYA and Centre for Social & Economic Transformation “CSET”).The meeting took place in the centers of TAGEM & SAKARYA , Ankara, Turkey yesterday on 09/04/2018.

Finally, The CEO mentioned that the result of the research ensures the Turkish Flint and White MAIZE could adapt/cultivate in the soil of the Somalia.
